Xingu indigenous experience

Experience Details

The Xingu Indigenous Park, established in 1961, stands as a powerful symbol of environmental preservation and the recognition of Indigenous peoples' rights in Brazil. Home to around 14 different ethnic groups living in harmony with the forest, it is a cultural and ecological mosaic of immense value.

Among these communities is the Ikpeng village, with whom we’ve developed a unique and sustainable sport fishing project. This experience goes far beyond the sport itself β€” it’s an immersion in the Amazon rainforest, offering direct contact with its rivers, biodiversity, and Indigenous way of life.

Fishing takes place in preserved areas managed by the community, with clean, fish-rich waters and abundant native species. The entire program is carried out with the Ikpeng people’s support and participation, ensuring deep respect for both nature and tradition.

More than an adventure in one of South America’s most remote and pristine landscapes, this journey strengthens the local economy, promotes community-based tourism, and builds meaningful connections across cultures.
